While we are committed to helping patients manage pain effectively, we do not prescribe opioid medications (such as hydrocodone, oxycodone, morphine, etc.) or benzodiazepines (such as Xanax, Valium, Ativan, etc.) for chronic pain management.
Our approach focuses on safer, evidence-based alternatives and individualized care plans designed to improve quality of life while minimizing risk. If medication is necessary, we will explore non-opioid treatment options or refer you to appropriate specialists when needed.

At Hays Primary Care, we are currently not accepting new patients for chronic pain management or chronic anxiety treatment requiring Opioids (Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, codeine, tramadol, etc.) or Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Alprazolam, Lorazepam, Clonazepam, etc.).
Patients seeking care for these conditions will be referred to psychiatry or pain management specialists for appropriate evaluation and treatment.
We are happy to welcome new patients for all other medical needs, including preventive care, acute illnesses, and general health management.

To best serve all of our patients, appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, same-day reschedules, or missed appointments (no-shows) are subject to a $50 no-show fee.
Patients who accumulate three (3) no-shows, late cancellations, or same-day reschedules may be dismissed from the practice in accordance with our office policies.
Payment is due at the time of service. Patients are responsible for all copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, self-pay charges, and any outstanding balances.
We accept cash, checks, HSA/FSA cards, and all major credit cards.
A valid credit card is required to remain on file to schedule and maintain appointments. The card on file may be used to collect authorized patient balances, including applicable no-show fees, late cancellation fees, and outstanding balances, in accordance with our Financial Policy & Appointment Agreement.
